Maybe you guys remember the crazy Audi R8 Jon Olsson created, mostly out of carbon fiber. Well now he’s back with another Audi, but with a crazier project than last time. This is the RS6 DTM wagon.
Jon Olsson has always been a fan of the look DTM cars have and it has been a dream to build a similar car for the road. Since he also needed some luggage space, this was the obvious choice. Leif Tufvesson from Caresto (he used to be chief engineer at Koenigsegg) got involved in the project. The complete build took 4 months longer than planned, but everything has to be perfect. For instance the carbon fiber sheets were bought from the same factory that supplies them to Pagani.
Exterior modifications include carbon fiber wheel arches, rear diffuser, roof and trunk spoilers, the front splitter and the sideskirts.
Like the R8, this car has a very interesting ski box. It was developed in collaboration with a company called 56Nord and it is a carbon fiber piece of art.
Performance was looked after by Stertman Motorsport. They upgraded the engine with a STM Stage 3+kit that includes custom 18 karat gold anodized TTE9XX turbos from The Turbo Engineers, a custom Black Titan suspension provided by Intrax, the biggest brakes Movit produces for the RS6 and a super mega race exhaust kit from Milltek Sport. This setup is good for 950 hp on pump gas and over 1,000 hp on race fuel.
Always remember to bet safe…
